Mission Micro Molding Corp. moves to Calif.

Mission Micro Molding Corp. has relocated to Irvine, Calif. The new facility has allowed the company to expand its services to provide assembly and testing. The company now has more than 1,000-sq.-ft. of cleanroom space.

“With assembly now expanded into cleanroom, Mission Micro Molding can provide our customers an added value,” said Fred Carr, VP engineering, in a statement.

Mission Micro Moldings  growth is attributed to having efficient micro molding machines, since molds are cheaper and cycles are faster, part prices are a lot less, the company reports.

Services include injection molding, insert molding, over molding and assembly.

Its equipment is specific for micro and small part molding. Mission Micro Molding specializes in part sizes between 0.01g and 13g.

Mission Micro Molding provides prototype, short run and production of small and micro sized plastic parts in many materials including: Polyether ether ketone, Delrin, Santoprene, Polycarbonate and other materials.

Mission Micro uses quality standards of ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and AS9100 and ITAR compliant.
