A band-aid approach to a heart monitor

Engineers at Stanford University have combined layers of flexible electronics and pressure sensors to create a wearable heart monitor thinner than a dollar bill, according to the university's YouTube channel. The university indicated that the skin-like device could one day provide doctors with a safer way to check the condition of a patient's heart.
