3-D printer fabs objects from paper

Mcor Technologies Ltd. has introduced to the U.S. market an affordable, eco-friendly 3-D printer that fabricates objects from ordinary office paper. Called the IRIS, the printer can print 1 million-plus colors.

High-resolution color on all surfaces, including undercuts and sidewall features.

Axis Resolution: X (12µm), Y (12µm), Z (100µm)

Build Size: A4 Paper (256mm x 169mm x 150mm)

Layer Thickness: 0.1mm; 0.19mm (ply color only)

File Formats for Printing: STL, OBJ, VRML
